The town of Karnobat lies on a crossroad in mid - East Bulgaria, some 60 km from Bourgas. It is a connecting road point for the towns and villages, located in East, North and West Bulgaria, providing also a railway line.
A winary with long - lasting traditions is built there, giving some of the best known Bulgarian brendies. Some projects, related with the ecological agriculture are developing there, because the area lacks industrial pollution. Nearby is situated a protected region in the Mount Straldzha, especially famous its birth variety.
