Halfway between Bourgas and Varna amongst a woody hillside, lies an open coastal stretch around Obzor. The small town of just 2000 inhabitants is conveniently located on the highway. Medieval Bulgarians also left their thraces by erecting a fortress called Kozyak nearby.
